Willow
Willow explores the quiet truth that we never fully know what is happening inside another person. Beneath a calm, composed exterior exists a complex interior landscape—layered, fragmented, and deeply personal. The figure’s surface is mapped with flowing, organic color fields that suggest emotion, memory, and internal movement, while the dark surrounding space holds what remains unseen.
Originally created with alcohol markers on plexiglass, the work embraces transparency, layering, and fluid boundaries, allowing colors to bleed and overlap in ways that echo the instability and depth of inner experience. Though the original is not for sale, this print preserves the vibrancy and emotional weight of the piece, inviting viewers to reflect on empathy, perception, and the unseen worlds carried by others.
